This course explores the rich and diverse ways that feminists of color in the global North and South are revisioning social justice and revolution through their visual art. Whether this be painting, photography, mixed media, murals, and other forms of street art. This course looks at the biographies, and the explicit and/or implicit political critiques offered by individual and collective visual art projects.
